Patrick J. Reilly

Patrick J. Reilly is a native of Lehigh Valley, PA., and has been practicing law since 1980.  He is licensed to practice both in Florida and Pennsylvania.  He was a partner with the firm of Gross McGinley, LLP in Allentown, PA. for 33 years, establishing a stellar reputation as a litigator in complex civil, commercial, and criminal litigation in both state and federal courts.  He served as chair of the firm’s Litigation Group and the Employment Law Group, which he founded.

 

In 2016, Pat relocated his practice to Venice, Florida and joined long-time Venice lawyer, W. Russell Snyder, in the new firm of Snyder & Reilly, Trial Lawyers.  Pat focuses his practice in the areas of Trust and Estate Litigation, Divorce and Complex Civil Litigation.  He also continues with Of Counsel status with Gross McGinley.

 

Pat is Board Certified in Civil Trial law through the National Board of Trial Advocacy, which required a demonstration of skill and expertise in the field of Civil Trial Law proven through a rigorous examination and testing by the NBTA.  Board certification is a qualification held by only approximately 3% of practicing attorneys in the United States.  Additionally, Pat was selected for inclusion in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers for 2013, 2014 and 2017, and Florida Super Lawyers from 2018 – 2021, reserved for the top 5% of attorneys in the state.  Pat has also received a Martindale Hubbell Peer Review Rating of AV Preeminent, which is the highest peer rating given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards.  Pat is a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, whose membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and mult-million dollar verdicts or settlements, which is less than 1% of lawyers in the United States.

 

Pat is a 1977 graduate of Washington and Lee University, where he played football, and a 1980 graduate of Cumberland School of Law of Samford University.  He is a member of The Florida Bar Association and Sarasota County Bar Association.  He currently serves as the President of the Sarasota County Bar Association South County Division and was President-Elect of the Lehigh County Bar Association before relocating to Florida.  Pat is currently the appointed City of Venice Special Magistrate for Code Enforcement.

 

Pat is married to his wife, Malka, and has three children and five grandchildren.

Mancini v. Northampton County, et al – Employment Discrimination/Civil Rights - $94,000 verdict plus $200,000 in counsel fees.  Fourth highest Civil Rights verdict in Pennsylvania in 2015.
